The Saturday Seven - #21

I'm still trying to get back in the swing of life back at home, post-Italy, including getting back into my Seven Things Project. I did manage to find 7 things to let go of this week - just 7 little items of baby/toddler clothes that didn't sell at the fall Moms of Multiples Sale and that I'm instead donating to our church women's rummage sale. No pics this week - turns out that the boys never wore a single piece of the clothing I'm getting rid of.

I have some really nice Christmas clothes (baby, toddler) that I'm hoping to sell on eBay this week, if I can get my act together. I'm finding it fairly difficult to get myself motivated, organized, and energized - not only for the project but for all the other things that need my attention right now. I do hope to be posting later this week, before my next Saturday Seven is up. I'll also be adding some new blogs to the sidebar (we have a couple of new blogs in our ring) and just generally catching up in blogland.

Total stuff gone this week: 7
Total gone so far: 179

The Saturday Seven - #19 & 20

the early edition

I leave for Italy this afternoon and as I've been packing I've also been getting rid of things.

Donated to church rummage sale: 7 pairs of shoes, 7 items of clothing (including a little brown dress that was great for dancing when I was 21 but does not belong on this 35 year-old body).

Given to our administrative assistant, who is expecting her first baby in June: the other Jungle Friends sleeper (pictured in last Saturday's Seven).

Sent to My Old Man's daughter for her 3 month-old: a jacket, hat, and pair of mittens from Old Navy, and the fleece romper Tiny Dancer wore for his first Thanksgiving (given to me by my SIL).

Sorry no pics, I'm short on time. Total this week: 19. Total so far: 172.

I may check in from Italy, though I won't be dispursing of things while there (one of the reasons I doubled-up before leaving). But I'm definitely going to be pondering the idea of simplicity while I try to deal with my urge to buy all kinds of Italian goods.

Ciao!
